The Uplifting Collection supports

WILDWONDER X MUCHACHI

Andrea Ramirez has been creating since she was a kid, taking joyful moments and translating them into color compositions. Today, Andrea runs and operates Muchachi out of San Rafael, CA—a gift wrapping + design studio named after her daughter. For this collection, Andrea was inspired by wildwonder’s brand essence of "Uplifting Being." When someone from the LGBTQ+ community releases the weight they carry from the standards of society and accept themselves as a beautiful being in this world, it is a moment when they get to be proud of who they are and embrace it.

WILDWONDER X MERCEDES TABISH

Mercedes Tabish is a Portland based artist with a signature "blind contouring" aesthetic. Mercedes is fascinated by the human body, movement, and how our bodies interact with color, nature, and plants. Her piece is inspired by the human body and how we are all connected to nature and what we chose to put into our bodies. Growth, gut health, and the relationship to ourselves is represented with a single line in a symbolic way, while the bright fun colors show the outside world all around us.

WILDWONDER X STUDIO MAK + MAYA

Patty Victorino is the principal artist of Studio Mak + Maya. Based in Vancouver, Canada, Patty is a Queer Filipina who makes colourful work for kids and grown-ups alike. In this collection, Patty explores her inner child joy with her experiences as a queer Filipino immigrant by balancing tender flowers with playful characters in bright colours. She believes that queerness is a complicated thing but if we can nurture the joy that comes with it, we can uplift a whole community together.
