Blackberry Boba

INGREDIENTS

Blackberry Violet wildwonder
½ cup blackberries, muddled
2 tsp sugar
2 tsp water
2 tbsp tapioca starch
For dough: 1 cup tapioca starch

Combine blackberries, sugar, and water in a bowl. Microwave for 1 minute.

Mash and strain out seeds. Let cool for 2–3 minutes.

Stir in 2 tbsp tapioca starch. Microwave in 15-second intervals (about 1 minute total), stirring between each, until the mixture becomes thick and sticky.

Start the dough: Gradually mix in 1 cup tapioca starch until a dough forms.

Knead the dough until smooth and no longer sticky. If needed, add a little more tapioca starch while kneading.

Roll into small balls and lightly coat with tapioca starch.

Boil for 20 minutes.

Strain and rinse with cold water.

Add boba to a glass, top with chilled Blackberry Violet wildwonder, and serve.
